Job Description and Duties
The HPM I will serve as the Program Manager for the Cal-PPH Pathways Fellowship and Internship Programs and Chief for the Cal-PPH/Pathways Unit. The incumbent will work with the Workforce Training and Disease Intervention Section Chief to guide the program’s vision by overseeing all administrative aspects of the Cal-PPH Program, supervising program staff, and serving as the primary liaison with contracted partners.
The candidate works under the general direction of the Health Program Manager II (HPM II), Chief of the Workforce Training and Disease Intervention Section/Director of Pathways Initiatives.
THIS IS A STATEWIDE RECRUITMENT. THE CANDIDATE WILL BE HEADQUARTERED IN THE COUNTY NEAREST THE RESIDENCE OF THE SELECTED CANDIDATE. THE COUNTIES ARE: Sacramento, Contra Costa, and San Diego.
