Overview
As an Investigator 3, you will be crucial to safeguarding the integrity of public health programs by conducting comprehensive investigations and audits to prevent fraud, ensure compliance, and uphold accountability. Working closely with teams across the Office of Nutrition Services (ONS), you’ll contribute to a mission that enhances nutrition access and promotes healthy lifestyles statewide.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Leading investigations into potential program violations by analyzing records, conducting interviews, and preparing detailed reports.
Conducting covert compliance checks, vendor audits, and onsite investigations for the WIC and other nutrition-related programs.
Collaborating with vendors, clients, and law enforcement agencies to verify compliance and uncover potential fraud.
Documenting findings in well-structured reports and, when necessary, providing testimony at hearings.
