Responsibilities
The Director, Administrative Management Services Group (AMSG) will provide the overall administration for the over 450 staff employed in Office of Primary Care Health Systems Management (OPCHSM). The incumbent will be responsible for providing expertise and assistance to other leadership in the areas including but not limited to staff personnel activities, grants management, contract management, risk management, space planning, purchasing and ITS capital projects. The incumbent will be responsible for adding to the overall strategic vision, policy development, and ensuring the day-to-day functions of OPCHSM.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and six years of experience in the direction and/or management of a public health program, health/human services program, health regulatory program or community-based services program/organization; OR an Associate’s degree in a related field and eight years of such experience; OR ten years of such experience. The years of experience must have included policy formulation, program planning, design, implementation, evaluation and/or allocation of resources. At least four years of experience must have included supervision of staff and program management. A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience and proficiency in personnel, budget/fiscal management, contract management, operations management, internal controls, risk management activities for a government-based organization, including in a management/supervisory role.
Demonstrated experience with capital grant contract development, execution, project monitoring and reimbursement.
Demonstrated experience liaising with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels including executives.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically technical and data manipulation experience with Excel.

Management/Confidential position.
Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location. Telecommuting will be available.
Travel, up to 10% of the time, will be required.
This position may require occasional work on weekends, after-hours, and holidays.
