Overview
NorthPoint Health and Wellness Center is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join the Behavioral Health department. This position provides direct clinical care, psychological assessment, and best practices in clinical intervention with adolescents, adults, and families.

In this position, you will:
- Conduct diagnostic assessments, including presenting problems, psychosocial history, and psychiatric diagnoses to assess a client’s mental health functioning to develop treatment recommendations and treatment goals and plans.
- Provide psychotherapy, such as individual, group, and family therapy to children, adolescents, families, adults, and the elderly.
- Record notes pertaining to client progress and attendance.
- Based on case histories, interviews, behavioral observations, and psychological test results.
- Write comprehensive psychological reports of clients’ histories, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations.
- Communicate information in psychological reports to appropriate agencies and individuals, for example, courts, health care providers, and family members.
Need to have:
- Graduate degree in psychology and an approved clinical internship in the area of specialization.
- Certified as a psychological practitioner or eligible within 18 months for certification as a licensed psychologist in the State of Minnesota.
