Our Center for Facilities Risk and Adjudication is seeking a skilled Legal Assistant to provide critical support to health law judges in the Adjudicative Services Unit. This role is vital to supporting health law judges by performing a wide range of legal and administrative tasks that ensure efficient and accurate case management.

 

About the Role
As a Legal Assistant, you will independently perform advanced legal support functions, contributing to our mission of protecting and improving the health of people across Washington state. Working as part of a collaborative legal assistant team, your responsibilities will require a deep understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and court rules at the local, state, and federal levels.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and organize legal case files, draft and proofread documents, and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines.
Coordinate hearings, schedules, and case activities while maintaining accurate records in case management systems.
Serve as a resource for parties involved in cases, providing information and maintaining confidentiality.
