We’re looking for a skilled and impartial Health Law Judge to join the Department of Health’s Adjudicative Services Office. In this pivotal role, you’ll preside over health profession discipline cases and other matters impacting public health, ensuring a fair, efficient, and consistent adjudicative process.
What You’ll Do:
Facilitate the litigation process by managing case schedules, discovery deadlines, and resolving legal issues.
Preside over adjudicative proceedings, ensuring compliance with state laws and promoting access to justice.
Draft and issue well-reasoned orders, applying legal standards to complex cases.
Provide legal support for colleagues, review petitions, and analyze legislation and policies affecting litigation.
Lead and support strategic projects that enhance our adjudicative processes.
