Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and managing data in our systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, fast typing skills, and the ability to handle large volumes of information with accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter and update data in company databases and spreadsheets.
Verify and correct data inconsistencies or errors.
Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity.
Retrieve and organize data as needed for reports and analysis.
Communicate with team members to clarify data requirements.
Follow company policies and procedures for data management.
Perform routine backups to ensure data security.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in data entry or administration are a plus.
Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar role.
Proficiency in typing and data entry with high accuracy.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and database management.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with data management software or CRM systems.
Basic knowledge of office administration and record keeping.
