Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Healthcare Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making through the collection, interpretation, and analysis of healthcare-related data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, a solid understanding of healthcare systems, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights for clinical and operational stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze healthcare datasets from sources such as electronic health records (EHR), insurance claims, and patient feedback to uncover trends and inform strategic initiatives.
Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel to support data visualization and business intelligence needs.
Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling to support initiatives in population health management, quality improvement, and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify data needs, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and deliver actionable insights.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA.
Present analytical findings and recommendations in a clear, concise, and impactful manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis within a healthcare setting.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, R, or SAS.
Strong understanding of healthcare terminology, coding systems (e.g., ICD-10, CPT), and data exchange standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with healthcare analytics platforms or EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner.
Knowledge of value-based care models, population health strategies, and healthcare quality metrics.
Familiarity with machine learning or advanced statistical modeling techniques.
