Overview
Job Summary:
The Nurse Manager is a Registered Nurse responsible for managing clinical operations, ensuring high-quality care for all patients, and supporting a team of staff and volunteer clinicians. This role works under the supervision of the Medical Director and Director of Nursing and Clinical Services, supporting operational flow and promoting efficient, patient-centered care in a free, licensed ambulatory care setting serving uninsured adults.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all patient care operations, including clinical flow and nurse supervision
Manage daily triage calls, test results, and medical records
Collaborate with medical and operational leadership
Ensure staff productivity, compliance, and proper documentation in the EMR
Manage volunteer nurse training, scheduling, and performance
Oversee clinical supplies and sterilization protocols
Serve as Patient Care Navigator and advocate
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Minimum 2–5 years of Nurse Manager experience (preferably Primary Care)
Experience in multi-physician or hospital-based practice
EMR proficiency
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
