We are seeking a dependable and people-focused Public Health Customer Service & Program Support Coordinator to assist in the day-to-day operations of public health initiatives. This remote role combines customer service, program coordination, and administrative support to ensure that individuals, partners, and stakeholders receive accurate information and seamless assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Communication
Serve as the first point of contact for public inquiries, partner organizations, and program participants.
Respond to emails, calls, and online messages with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy.
Assist individuals in understanding public health services, eligibility, or next steps.
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members and follow up as needed.
Program & Administrative Support
Schedule virtual meetings, send reminders, and help prepare agendas or materials.
Maintain accurate records of communications, service requests, and resolutions.
Assist in tracking program timelines, deliverables, and reporting requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and project alignment.
Data Entry & Reporting
Log service data and feedback to support program reporting and quality improvement.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive health-related information responsibly.
Generate basic summaries or status updates for internal review.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Human Services, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or public health programs.
Strong communication skills—clear, compassionate, and responsive.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM or help desk tools.
Organized, reliable, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
Knowledge of public health topics or community health programs is a strong plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with grant-funded or government health programs.
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and handling of personal health information.
Previous work with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) or client databases.
