In this remote role, you will leverage data to uncover trends, identify areas for program improvement, and provide actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making. This position requires a strong understanding of healthcare data systems, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Analysis: Gather, clean, and analyze large datasets from various healthcare sources (e.g., clinical records, surveys, program outcomes) to assess the effectiveness of public health programs.
Data Reporting and Visualization: Develop detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate data findings and insights to stakeholders, including program managers, policymakers, and external partners.
Trend Identification: Identify and interpret key trends and patterns within healthcare data, providing actionable insights to support continuous improvement in public health initiatives.
Program Evaluation: Conduct statistical analyses to evaluate the impact of public health programs and services, using appropriate models to measure effectiveness and outcomes.
Collaboration: Work closely with other public health teams, data scientists, and program managers to ensure data accuracy and to support decision-making processes.
Compliance and Data Integrity: Ensure that data collection, analysis, and reporting practices comply with relevant healthcare standards, regulations, and best practices, including HIPAA and other data privacy guidelines.
Support Decision-Making: Provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders to improve service delivery, resource allocation, and program design.

Qualifications
Required:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a data analysis role within the healthcare or public health sector, with a strong understanding of healthcare data sources and analytics.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS, or Python) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to perform complex data analysis, interpret results, and communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
Knowledge of Healthcare Systems: Familiarity with healthcare data management systems, electronic health records (EHR), and public health program databases.
Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail, particularly when working with large datasets or complex data structures.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Remote Work Ability: Must have a reliable internet connection and the ability to work independently in a remote, home-office setting.

Preferred:

Advanced Analytics: Experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, or advanced statistical techniques.
Public Health Experience: Experience working with public health data, including epidemiological datasets, health outcomes, and program performance metrics.
Programming Skills: Advanced knowledge of data manipulation and scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) for complex data processing and automation.
Certification: Certifications in healthcare analytics or public health (e.g., Certified Health Data Analyst – CHDA, or similar) are highly desirable.
