Position Overview:
Our mission is to bridge healthcare gaps, empower communities, and improve health outcomes through education, outreach, and strategic collaboration with public and private stakeholders…We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Public Health Coordinator (Community Engagement & Outreach) to join our growing public health team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in coordinating outreach initiatives, fostering community partnerships, and supporting program implementation that aligns with our mission to promote health equity and access for all.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, coordinate, and implement community outreach programs and public health initiatives.
Build and maintain partnerships with community-based organizations, healthcare providers, and local agencies.
Assist in planning and conducting health education workshops, community events, and engagement campaigns.
Collect and analyze data to measure program outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
Support grant writing, reporting, and compliance documentation for public health projects.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop culturally appropriate health education materials and outreach strategies.
Represent the organization in community meetings, coalitions, and public forums.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, Community Health, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
2+ years of experience in public health coordination, outreach, or community engagement.
Strong understanding of health equity, community-based interventions, and public health principles.
Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with data tracking or CRM tools preferred.
