Opportunity Highlights
• 12-bed Level II NICU with plans to advance to Level III
• Approximately 100 deliveries per month
• Modern NICU facility with collaborative 2-physician care model
• In-house NNP coverage
• Newborn nursery coverage included
Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive medical care to newborns in a Level II and III NICU, including premature and critically ill infants
• Attend high-risk deliveries and perform neonatal resuscitation as indicated
• Diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of neonatal conditions
• Perform neonatal procedures within scope of practice
• Collaborate with NNPs, pediatricians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members
• Communicate effectively with families regarding clinical status and treatment plans
• Document patient care accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards
• Participate in shared call coverage and team-based responsibilities
Ideal Candidate
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
• Strong clinical expertise in NICU care
• Commitment to collaborative, team-based practice
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Dedication to high-quality, evidence-based medicine
