Position Overview
ResMed is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Public Health Analyst to join our remote team. In this role, you will leverage data to inform public health strategies, support population health initiatives, and contribute to improving patient outcomes through actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze large healthcare datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in population health
Support the development and evaluation of public health programs and interventions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical, data science, and product teams
Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings clearly
Conduct literature reviews and stay current on public health research and policy changes
Assist in developing strategies to improve healthcare access, quality, and outcomes
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and ethical standards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field
2+ years of experience in public health analysis, healthcare analytics, or similar role
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python, SAS, or similar)
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with healthcare claims or EHR data
Familiarity with digital health technologies or remote patient monitoring
Knowledge of U.S. healthcare systems and public health policies
