Overview

The Division of Public Health in the Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Binghamton University, located at the health sciences campus in Johnson City, New York, is hiring for its Master of Public Health (MPH) program and invites applicants for a full-time, campus-based, 10-month tenured/tenure-track faculty appointment.

Appointment responsibilities include teaching, research and scholarship (e.g., mentoring students, grant writing, publications, and conference presentations), and service to the program, college, university, community, and profession. Requirements:

  • Doctorate in Public Health (DrPH), OR Research doctorate (PhD) in public health or related health sciences discipline; ABD candidates will be considered

Preferred:

  • Evidence of a successful research agenda that includes external funding
  • Experience presenting research at national or regional conferences
  • Experience publishing research in relevant journals
  • Experience participating or serving in local community based-organizations
  • Teaching experience in area of expertise
