Overview

Under the general direction of the Information Technology Manager I (ITM I), Enterprise Portfolio Management Office Branch (ePMO), the Information Technology Supervisory II (IT Sup II) ensures Information Technology (IT) projects are properly planned, managed, executed, and controlled to provide the highest probability for project success either directly or through subordinate resources. The IT Sup II is responsible for leading and/or supervising all aspects of successful IT project delivery, contract management, risk and issue management, managing scrum teams, removing business and technical blockers to project success, and representing CDPH in various internal and external meetings. The IT Sup II is responsible for IT project planning and oversight activities to include working closely with the Project Directors on IT Portfolio Planning, contract and vendor management, risk management, Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) development, legislative bill analysis, budget change proposal (BCP) review and alignment with fiscal documents, formal IT project oversight, and control agency collaboration and reporting. The IT Sup II ensures the project teams adheres to the Statewide Information Management Manual (SIMM) Section 17 and SIMM Section 19, follows all ePMO policies and procedures, and the State Contracting Manual (SCM) on all contract activities. Ensures IT project expenditures are driven by, and responsive to, the compelling business needs of CDPH programs in achieving the mission of the Department.

The IT Sup II will perform duties within the Business Technology Management and Information Technology Project Management domains.
