Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team in supporting our public health operations. This role is essential for driving strategic sourcing, vendor management, and purchasing processes that ensure we deliver high-quality healthcare services while maintaining cost efficiency.
As a key player in our procurement process, you will work directly with internal teams to meet public health objectives and support the delivery of critical services to our community.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, purchasing, and contract negotiation.
Identify and manage vendor relationships to secure the best terms and prices.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contracts and quality standards.
Maintain accurate procurement records and generate regular reports.
Ensure adherence to public health policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related fields, preferably in healthcare or public health.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Experience with procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Coupa).
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent are a plus.
