As we continue to expand our outreach and administrative capabilities, we are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team remotely.

Position Overview

 

The Administrative Assistant will provide professional administrative and organizational support to church leadership and ministry teams. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities, communications, and community outreach initiatives. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities with grace, confidentiality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and clerical support to pastoral staff and ministry teams.
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate virtual and in-person events.
Prepare correspondence, reports, newsletters, and church bulletins.
Maintain church records, databases, and membership information.
Assist in coordinating volunteer schedules and community outreach programs.
Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
Support financial and donation record-keeping under the supervision of the finance team.
Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
Perform other duties as needed to support the mission and operations of the church.

Qualifications
High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
1–3 years of administrative or office management experience (nonprofit or faith-based environment preferred).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and online meeting tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Compensation and Benefits
Pay Rate: $22 – $35 per hour (commensurate with experience)
