Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Remote Data Entry Operator to support our veterinary team by accurately inputting, updating, and managing animal health records, client information, and other essential data. The ideal candidate will ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and accuracy while working in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and update veterinary patient records, including medical histories, treatments, and prescriptions.
- Input and maintain client information, billing details, and appointment schedules.
- Verify data for accuracy and completeness before submission.
- Organize and categorize digital files and documents.
- Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and administrative staff to ensure up-to-date records.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and pet information in compliance with data protection regulations.
- Assist with generating reports and retrieving necessary information for veterinary professionals.
- Troubleshoot minor data entry errors and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in data management is a plus.
- Previous experience in data entry, in a veterinary or healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and data entry software.
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and electronic medical records (EMR) systems is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
Work Environment:
- Fully remote position with flexible working hours.
- Requires a reliable internet connection and a computer with secure access to veterinary data systems.
- May require occasional virtual meetings with the veterinary team.
