Overview
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pay Incentive: 70% above salary max in hire for those that qualify.
- Administer Tests: Perform STI tests (swabs, blood, urine) following clinic protocols.
- After-Hours Support: Regular daytime hours with extended evenings 7-2 days per week.
- Ensure Confidentiality: Adhere to HIPAA and safeguard patient privacy.
- Communicate Results: Deliver test results with empathy and clarity.
- Patient Education: Provide guidance on STI prevention, safe sex, and treatment options.
- Collaborative Care: Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient ca re.
- Accurate Documentation: Record patient interactions and test results thoroughly.
- Infection Control: Maintain strict infection control procedures.
- Escalate Care: Recognize when to refer cases for further assessment.
- Culturally Competent Care: Respect diverse cultural, gender, and sexual identities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- One (1) year of work-related experience as a Registered Nurse
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
- Possess a valid Texas Drivers License, with a good driving record
