Dietitian, Dietetic Technician, or other Health Professional (28 hours/week)

The Delaware Public Health District seeks a Health Professional (Licensed Dietitian, Registered Dietitian, Registered Nurse, Dietetic Technician Registered, Dietetic Technician, Physician Assistant, or 4-year nutrition/dietetics graduate) to work in our WIC Unit assessing and documenting participant nutritional risks, providing nutrition and breastfeeding counselling responsive to the participants needs and prescribing tailored food packages.

Position will be split between the Morrow County office (3 days, 24 hours) and Delaware County office (1 day, 4 hours), but may work in all three offices (Delaware/Morrow/Union) based on the needs of the program and clients.

Requirements: 

Health Professional 1: Associate’s degree in dietetics, nutrition or other related field required. Possession of a valid driver’s license and current auto liability insurance required.  Less than one-year relevant experience required.

Health Professional 2: Bachelor’s degree in dietetics, nutrition or other related field required.  Dietetics license with state of Ohio required.  Possession of a valid driver’s license and current auto liability insurance required. Less than one-year relevant experience required.

Salary and Benefits: 

Health Professional 1 starting pay is $20.55/hr. Starting pay may be adjusted commensurate with experience.
Health Professional 2 starting pay is $25.55/hr. Starting pay may be adjusted commensurate with experience.
