Overview

The interdisciplinary Global Health Program at DePauw University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August 2025. Ph.D. or relevant terminal degree (completed by August 2025) with expertise in public health, global health, epidemiology, health policy, health determinants, or a related field is preferred; ABD candidates will be considered at the rank of Instructor. We seek a candidate who is passionate about teaching undergraduates in a liberal-arts setting and can demonstrate effective and inclusive teaching. The Global Health Program prioritizes student learning through teaching, mentoring, and research experiences. We specifically seek candidates to teach core global health courses and upper-level topics courses to be developed in consultation with the program director. Candidates who can advise undergraduate students in finding relevant practicum experiences are encouraged to apply. The teaching responsibilities include three courses per semester, in addition to a half-credit course taught every third year during DePauw’s January or May term. Funding is available for professional development and research with undergraduate students.
