Overview
The Dorchester County Health Department is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to provide primary health care to students in our Wellness Centers.
Location: Dorchester County School-Based Wellness Centers
Schedule: Part-Time (32–36 hours per week)
Calendar: Follows Dorchester County Public Schools calendar

Compensation & Benefits
The full-time (40-hour) equivalent for this state grade is $97,972 – $125,317 (hourly rate of $47.10 – $60.25). We offer two flexible scheduling options and your actual pro-rated compensation will be:
- Option 1: 32 Hours/Week: Annual Salary: $78,377 – $100,253
Option 2: 36 Hours/Week: Annual Salary: $88,174 – $112,785
State Benefits: This position is eligible for State of Maryland benefits.
- Minimum Qualifications
Education: Determined by the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses under the certification requirements for Nurse Practitioners.
Experience: One year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
Licensure: Must possess a current certificate as a Nurse Practitioner from the Maryland State Board of Nursing.
Driver’s License: A valid State of Maryland motor vehicle operator’s license is required (travel between centers may be necessary).
