Rollins Epidemiology Fellowship

The Rollins Epidemiology Fellowship program is a 2-year intensive training program for early career epidemiologists in Georgia. Fellows are placed in one of Georgia’s 18 health districts or at the Georgia Department of Public Health in Epidemiologist 1 roles. Their experiences are supplemented by competency-based programming and professional development opportunities.

Cohort 5 will host 13 fellows across 13 health districts in Georgia to start in August 2024. For the two-year fellowship fellows serve as applied epidemiologists assisting with case investigations, contact tracing, data management and analysis, and community outreach. In addition to their routine work, fellows will complete projects related to quality improvement/assurance or evaluation, data analysis, and an oral or poster presentation.

Ideal candidates are recent Master’s of public health graduates (2022 – 2024) from CEPH-accredited schools and programs and have a passion for local public health and serving Georgia communities.
