Summary:
Garfield County Public Health is hiring a Public Health Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team and oversee key programs, including immunizations, communicable disease response, maternal/child health, and emergency preparedness.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and support nursing staff
Cross train and participate in public health services as needed
Manage daily operations of public health nursing programs
Ensure regulatory compliance
Coordinate with local and state partners
Oversee budgets, grants, and quality improvement efforts
Minimum Qualifications:
Colorado RN license (or compact)
BSN required; Master’s preferred
5+ years RN experience & 2+ years leadership
Public health or community health experience preferred
