As an accredited public health department, we’re seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Business Support Analyst 3 to join the Division of Medical-Clinical Services, Public Health Laboratory located in Decatur, GA.

This is a GRANT FUNDED position and is subject to available grant funds.

Job Responsibilities
This individual in this position will report to the Business Support Supervisor and provide operational business support for the lab. The incumbent will provide business functions that support grant monitoring, budget oversight and special projects to ensure project compliance. This individual will also provide business owners with accurate and timely financial expenditure and analytical reports on a routine basis.

Essential Job Duties:

Utilize Peoplesoft to access grant financial reports to inform management of grant budget.
Coordinate with Contracts and procurement to facilitate submission of contract requests related to the grant.
Ensure that any reports and deliverables associated with vendor contracts are received and documented.
Prepares and analyzes operations statistics, reports and other data associated with grant and budget items.
Assist the Business Support Team lead with compiling grant reporting data and documentation.
Participate in meetings related to grant/ budget administration.
Work with grant Principal Investigator and the Business Operations team to respond to requests provided from the grantor.
Assist with reviewing and analyzing requisitions, equipment, and supply orders as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university AND Four years of experience related to area of assignment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university AND four years of experience related to area of assignment (Peoplesoft financials, state budgets, grant deliverables, contracts)
