Overview
Halifax County Public Health System (HCPHS) is currently recruiting for a full time Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) Coordinator to support the continued implementation in a ten-county area including Halifax, Northampton, Vance/Granville, Warren, Nash, Edgecombe, Franklin, Johnson, and Wilson. The Triple P-Positive Parenting Program is a parenting and family support system designed to prevent as well as treat behavioral and emotional problems in children and teenagers. It aims to prevent problems in the family, school, and community before they arise and to create family environments that encourage children to realize their potential. This position provides general direction and oversight accountability of the Triple P Program within these counties. This person will be responsible for program and budget management and collecting and analyzing data, participate in local coalition conversations and community events to support the work, and coordinate and plan community events.
This person will serve as the day-to-day contact with HCPHS, regional partners, NC Division of Public Health and Triple P America.
