Overview
Join our CAYAC (Children, Adolescent, and Young Adult Connections) team within the Mental Health and Substance Use Connections team (“Connections”). Connections is integral to helping community members understand their behavioral health needs and connecting them to services that best meet their situation. Connections works with anyone at any age who has (or who’s loved one has) a behavioral health need, offering answers, options, and support to help them take the next step towards connecting to options that can help them improve mental health and work towards recovery from substance use.
The position will provide brief psychiatric services to children, adolescents, and young adults. This includes initial psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and follow up care. As part of the CAYAC multi-disciplinary team, the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with community partners to help ensure clients and families receive exceptional initial attention to their behavioral health and substance use needs and help reduce barriers to ongoing behavioral health care and services. The position provides approximately (75%) clinical care and (25%) is designated for administrative tasks, including internal and external collaboration.
Hiring Range and Status
· $53 – $65 per hour DOQ
· Up to 24 hours per week

Education and Experience
· Licensed NP in State of Colorado
· Active DEA license
· A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing exceptional child and adolescent psychiatry services as part of a multi-disciplinary team in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
· Professional liability license
