Responsibilities

Health Research Inc. is seeking an Hourly Project Assistant II to join the Department of Health’s Center for Environmental Health (CEH) Outreach and Education Group. The incumbent will work in project teams with Center for Environmental Health subject matter experts and Outreach and Education Staff to support the following projects:

Help maintain webpage content on injury prevention and environmental health topics.
Identify audiences, messaging and materials about environmental health and injury prevention topics.
Conduct data entry and literature review efforts in support ongoing educational research projects.
Minimum Qualifications

Undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled in a Public Health or Environmental Health program.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using Adobe Creative Suites InDesign, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver and MS Office Suite.
An associate’s degree or greater in a related field
Demonstrated, strong and creative communication skills including experience developing both written content and supporting graphics.
Experience conducting literature reviews in support of research projects.
Experience with html coding and graphic design software.
Conditions of Employment
Grant funded, hourly position expected to last through 12/16/2024. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.

Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location. Telecommuting will be available.

Travel, up to 10%, will be required.
