Description
NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center is seeking a Quality Improvement/Quality Assurance (QI/QA) Manager to assume broad managerial responsibilities and authority for NorthPoint’s Quality Improvement/Quality Assurance department. The QI/QA Manager will provide guidance to clinical staff in the area of QI/QA for the purpose of continuously improving outcomes and modeling collaborative processes.

Location and hours:
This position is hybrid and will be performed both on-site at 2220 Plymouth Avenue North, Minneapolis, MN 55411, and remote as job duties require. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, between 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., with flexibility. While this position is designated as hybrid, based on current requirements hires must reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin.

New employees who are hired into remote or hybrid positions between January 2, 2022 to December 31, 2024, will receive $500 toward the cost of establishing consistent internet connectivity, payable upon completion of 6 months of employment.

In this position, you will:

·       Lead activities and initiatives related to Quality Improvement/Assurance.

·       Serve as subject matter expert for Uniform Data System and Minnesota Community Measurement (MNCM) as well as criteria for various grant programs.

·       Work within and across NorthPoint departments to provide direction, consultation, and assistance in setting QI priorities based on regulatory entities and community needs assessments.

·       Be accountable for all aspects of QI Program reporting (internal and external) ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

·       Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders to ensure data systems and programs effectively and efficiently support QI/QA initiatives and activities.

·       Facilitate the integration of quality principles throughout the organization in collaboration with clinical directors, managers, and supervisors.

·       Develop QI/QA goals, processes and initiatives for the organization including completion of an annual QI/QA plan.

·       Oversee patient satisfaction including satisfaction with the care experience as a primary goal for the organization’s quality activities.

·       Perform management functions that include selection, training, and evaluation of staff.

Need to have:
One of the following:

·       Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, healthcare, or other field appropriate to the position and five years of experience in the planning and administration of QI/QA.

·       Nine years or more of experience in the planning and administration of QI/QA.

Nice to have:

 

·       Experience:

o   Providing QI/QA services in a healthcare/clinic setting.

o   Supervising direct reports and/or being a team lead.

o   In racial, gender, LGBTQIA+, neurodiversity, and other differing ability equity.

o   Performing measurement and program evaluation including those related to disparities in healthcare delivery.

o   Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners.

·       Ability to:

o   Inspire and motivate staff at the supervisor and individual contributor levels to work toward a shared vision and lead staff through transformational and cultural shifts.

o   Communicate clearly and concisely in both verbal and written form.

o   Plan, organize, and implement policies and procedures.

o   Interpret data regarding patient care.

·       Proficiency in computerized statistical models and methods related to QI/QA, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Excel, and other related computer applications.
