Hennepin County’s Crisis Services area seeks multiple Senior Mental Health Crisis Therapists. These positions provide the opportunity to make a difference in diverse communities, enhance your clinical skills in a fast-paced, team environment, and be part of a department with the mission to strengthen communities by improving the health of individuals and families.
Cope is a 24/7 mobile crisis program that provides crisis services in Hennepin County. Community members call Cope when they or loved ones are having a difficult time managing a crisis and/or are seeking community supports. As a team member, you will make decisions about an individual’s safety in real time while assessing their strengths. Instead of managing a caseload, you will be providing consumers with reassurance in times of crisis, determining their needs and resources, and safety planning. It takes passion and a willingness in order to work with consumers in crisis.
