About : ISPCAN is a global network dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and neglect. Through education, advocacy, and collaboration, we empower professionals and communities worldwide to protect children and strengthen child protection systems.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Public Health Education Specialist on a part-time contract basis to support the development of educational content and resources for global audiences. This role will focus on creating engaging materials—including infographics, messaging, and reports—tailored to diverse professionals and community members working in child abuse prevention and response. The ideal candidate will have a talent for translating complex concepts into accessible, impactful content, and must bring strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and a problem-solving mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Content Development & Messaging:

• Create clear, concise, and impactful educational content for child abuse prevention and response.

• Develop messaging tailored for diverse global audiences, including multidisciplinary professionals, NGOs, community groups, and policymakers.

• Ensure all content aligns with ISPCAN’s mission and reflects evidence-based practices.

  • develop press kits and utilize all social media, other formats appropriate for audience

Infographics & Visual Materials:

• Design visually appealing infographics and other visual resources to effectively communicate key messages.

• Translate data, research findings, and policies into accessible visual formats.

• Report Writing & Documentation:

• Develop and organize reports, case studies, and resource materials for professional and public use.

• Contribute to periodic newsletters, publications, and communications targeted at ISPCAN’s global network.

• Global and Cross-Cultural Engagement:

• Adapt messaging to fit different cultural contexts, ensuring it resonates with a wide range of audiences.

• Engage with multidisciplinary teams to gather insights and feedback for resource development.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• A degree in public health, communications, education, social work, or a related field.

• Advanced degrees in relevant areas are a plus.

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in public health education, communications, or resource development.

• Demonstrated experience creating educational content, visual materials, and messaging campaigns.

Skills:

• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.

• Ability to translate complex information into engaging and accessible formats.

• Proficiency in creating infographics and visual content using tools like Canva, Adobe, or similar platforms.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

• Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with global, multidisciplinary audiences.

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt messaging and content to meet diverse needs.

Work Environment & Schedule

• Remote position with set hours.

• Expected commitment: 20 hours per week.

Compensation

• $3000/month for 20 hrs/week

We need storytelling and impactful health communications strategy and social media experience to develop more child protection messaging and press kits, etc. Prefer someone with experience with public health education, who is a self starter, and innovator ;strong communication and graphic design skills needed to cater messages to various audience types and formats.

This is a part time remote position 20 hours/week for a global organization. $3000/month. Degree in public health, and Masters degree preferred
