Remote Assistant Professor

Position Overview:

We invite applications for a Remote Assistant Professor position in Public Health and/or Health Administration. This faculty role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about student-centered learning, public health leadership, and interdisciplinary teaching. You will contribute to shaping the next generation of public health professionals through innovative, inclusive, and equity-focused instruction in a fully online academic setting.

This is a remote, non-tenure or tenure-track appointment (depending on institution) with opportunities for curriculum development, research collaboration, and public health service.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Public Health, Health Administration, Epidemiology, Health Policy, or related disciplines
Develop and deliver engaging, accessible, and culturally relevant online course content using learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard)
Support student success through timely feedback, academic advising, and mentorship
Contribute to curriculum review, assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives
Engage in scholarly activities, community-based research, or applied public health projects as appropriate
Participate in faculty meetings, accreditation efforts, and institutional service as needed
Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in classroom practices and program development

Minimum Qualifications:

Doctoral degree (PhD, DrPH, DHA, or equivalent) in Public Health, Health Administration, or closely related field (ABD candidates may be considered)
Demonstrated teaching experience in higher education, preferably in online or hybrid modalities
Expertise in at least two of the following areas: Epidemiology, Health Policy, Healthcare Management, Community Health, Biostatistics, or Global Health
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with online teaching tools, academic technology, and digital collaboration platforms
