Role Description

As an Analyst at Just Whole Care, you’ll play a crucial role supporting new AI-enhanced health equity projects partnering community-based organizations (CBOs), health systems, and payers. Working closely with the project team, you will gather and analyze clinical and financial data, prepare useful materials and tools using proprietary AI, and serve as a critical quality assurance reviewer, conducting rigorous audits of data-driven deliverables to ensure zero-defect alignment with Medi-Cal, CalAIM, and BHSA policies.. Additionally, you will work directly with and help refine our AI, with the goal of enhancing the experience of the CBOs and others who use it.

This is a part-time, remote role with preference for candidates in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for some on-site work as needed.

Key responsibilities you will have:

Gathering and interpreting data and information relevant to the project, providing insights to inform deliverables and decision-making.
Preparing for and participating in project meetings, presenting data and analysis as needed.
Maintaining clear and accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and file folders.
Assisting Project Managers and Senior Managers with creating schedules, assigning resources, and keeping stakeholders informed.
Preparing communication materials for clients and contributing data and other content for progress reports.
Helping test and adjust internal tech-enabled frameworks and workflows to continuously improve the accuracy of client deliverables.
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Strong data collection and interpretation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
Comfort and ability to use AI tools such as Gemini or ChatGPT to optimize workflows, synthesize data, and enhance deliverables.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Associates degree or equivalent experience in a related field such as nursing, public health, public administration, business administration, or social work.
Preferred qualifications include:

Lived experience navigating complex safety net healthcare systems, social services and/or public health programs.
2-3 years of experience in healthcare consulting, clinical compliance, quality assurance, or policy analysis (specifically dealing with Medi-Cal, CalAIM, or safety-net funding).
·       Direct operational or clinical experience within the safety net (e.g., as an ECM Lead Care Manager, program director, or clinical supervisor) is highly valued to ensure our tools remain grounded in reality.

·       1-2 years working in a digital health, health tech, or systems implementation environment.

·     Bachelor degree in nursing, public health, public administration, business administration, or social work.
