The DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (DCOM) at Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) invites applications for a full-time Assistant, Associate, or Professor of Public Health at its Orange Park, Florida campus.
This faculty position plays a key role in delivering foundational public health education within the Foundations of Modern Health Care courses for first- and second-year osteopathic medical students. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, scholarly activity, and service in support of the missions of LMU, DCOM, and the Department.
Primary Responsibilities
Teach multiple core public health domains within the Foundations of Modern Health Care curriculum
Deliver instruction to OMS-I and OMS-II medical students in alignment with LMU-DCOM curricular standards
Participate in scholarly activity, curriculum development, and academic service
Contribute to a collaborative, student-centered learning environment
Support the mission and values of osteopathic medical education and population health
Required Qualifications
Doctorate in a health-related field, specifically in:
Public Health
Preventive Medicine
Health Promotion
or a closely related discipline
Academic Rank
Appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level will be based on qualifications, experience, and scholarly accomplishments.

The Assistant/Associate/Professor of Public Health (DCOM at LMU-Orange Park) shall have the primary responsibility of teaching multiple core public health domains in the Foundations of Modern Health Care Courses to first and second year osteopathic medical students in accordance with the LMU-DCOM approved curriculum and shall be held accountable for scholarly activity and service as they contribute to the attainment of the mission of the University, the School, and the Department.
