Overview

The Program Evaluator will lead all evaluation components for the Louisiana Cancer Prevention & Control (LCP) programs including the following: development and implementation of evaluation plans; development of evaluation reports; and the development and implementation of quality improvement (QI) feedback and assessment plans and tools. He/She will also lead epidemiological initiatives through knowledge of emerging best practices.

Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Health Communications or a related field and three years experience. A Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated or non-health field with three years of relevant full time work experience in program evaluation may substitute for the degree discipline requirement. A Master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience. Preferred experience includes evaluating public health or community programs, knowledge of and experience working in cancer control, and experience working with clinical data.
