Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose of this position is to provide executive level direction for operational activities and staff within the Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) concerning procurement, budget management, resource allocation, physical plant, recruitment, and administrative services.  This position ensures operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance with MBON strategic plan and applicable State and Department regulations.  It also establishes and evaluates policies and procedures and oversees implementation and revisions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified candidates must possess a master’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration or similar field, at least 5 years of experience in leadership and management, 3 years of Fiscal experience and oversight and 3 years of procurement management experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred candidates should possess experience with FMIS and experience with budget management.
