Newark Community Health Centers, Inc., FQHC, is a multi-cultural community health and social services organization dedicated to meeting the health care needs of the medically underserved in the greater Newark area. Join us as we expand our services.

We have six different locations throughout Essex County New Jersey (3 in Newark, 1 in East Orange, 1 in Orange and 1 in Irvington) and are expanding our services to help this community receive the healthcare which they properly deserve.

The ideal candidate is a highly analytical leader who will join our senior management team. You will be responsible for leading the company’s day-to-day operations related to healthcare and regulatory issues including safety and risk management issues. This candidate will work with senior management team to ensure and oversee efforts to expand the health center services and community outreach programs. Candidate would have a clinical background with previous population health management and care coordination. Ideal candidate would be a Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse who has primary care experience.

 

Responsibilities

·         Collaborate with the Clinical Leadership of organization to ensure infection control practices are established and in effect.

·         Directly involved in the responsibility for life, safety and security issues related to each of the health centers in operation, and up-keep of each site and provides leadership within the operations staff.

·         Participates in site reviews conducted by federal, state and other officials to assure access to and review of needed materials, lists, inspections certificates, and other items which document compliance to guidelines, regulations, etc.

·         Maintains policies and procedures manuals and oversees their implementation.

·         Improve patient access to care by assisting the CMO and Practice leadership to implement process improvements to reach mutual goals and improve patient access.

·         Use practice level population data to analyze overall capacity/demand for appointments and visit patterns.

·         Ensures all staff perform at effectives levels of competency utilization and productivity.

·         Evaluate, interpret and analyze data and/or business process and present recommendations and alternatives for management and executive review.

·         Assures timely and accurate submission of data to regulatory and accrediting programs.
