The State of Connecticut, Department of Public Health (DPH) is seeking qualified candidates for Public Health Section Chief for the Facility Licensing and Investigations Section (FLIS), within the Regulatory Affairs Branch.
This is an exciting and dynamic leadership position which oversees approximately 70 professional and support staff dedicated to ensuring high quality and safe health care. The Section Chief will oversee the unit within the Department of Public Health responsible for facility licensing and investigating complaints related to health care facilities regulated by the DPH.
Please Note: Candidates who are offered and accept a position with DPH Facility Licensing and Investigations Section must be free of outside employment that may conflict with the role they are offered. This will be reviewed by Human Resources prior to start date.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
– Location: 410 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, CT
– Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
– Work Shift: Full-time, First Shift
– Work Hours: 40 hours per week
