The Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Branch (CLPPB) oversees a statewide program that provides a wide and complex array of primary and secondary prevention services to children with lead poisoning, lead exposure or risk of lead exposure.

This position supports the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by supporting the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Branch’s (CLPPB) mission of identifying children at risk for lead poisoning, ensuring clinical and environmental case management of lead exposed children, and identifying and mitigating environmental sources of lead exposure.

The candidate works under supervision of the Chief of the Program Evaluation & Research Section’s (PERS) Epidemiology Unit, to assess statewide efforts to investigate and mitigate environmental sources of children’s lead exposure
