Overview

The Division of Health Research and Evaluation in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Rockford, is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Research Associate II position. The Research Associate II will be involved in planning, implementing, and evaluating research projects. They will independently conduct work complementary to the overall research objectives, including data management, analysis, and report writing. To learn more about what we do, visit our website. Candidates for this position must meet the minimum qualifications below:

·         A master’s degree in social science or a related field (degree must be conferred by the start date).

·         A minimum of one year of related research experience

·         Advanced statistical knowledge and appropriate statistical software, including SAS, SPSS, R, and data management and visualization techniques.

·         Knowledge of research concepts, practices, and procedures.

·         Strong written and oral communication skills

·         Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Compensation & Benefits

The budgeted annual salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000 annually. The final salary offered will be determined by a thorough assessment of available market data, internal salary equity, candidate experience and qualifications, and budget constraints.

This position is intended to be eligible for benefits. This includes Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, a Retirement Plan, Paid time Off, and Tuition waivers for employees and dependents.
