Overview

The Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services at Utah State University invites applicants for three tenure-track faculty positions (Assistant or Associate Professor) as part of a new college initiative focused on Technology Enhanced Health and Wellness.

This forward-looking interdisciplinary initiative, developed in partnership with USU’s College of Engineering, brings together faculty and students to address complex health challenges through the innovative application of technology and engineering principles. Our vision is to transform health and human services by advancing technologies that promote accessibility, efficiency, and personalized care. Areas of research emphasis include, but are not limited to, biomedical devices, assistive technologies, digital therapeutics, wearable technologies, remote health monitoring and delivery, health applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning, and data-driven precision medicine.

Successful candidates will join a vibrant community of researchers committed to interdisciplinary collaboration and high-impact scholarship. Candidates should demonstrate a strong record or clear potential for collaborative, externally funded research that advances technology’s role in improving health and human services. Candidates must have a disciplinary background that aligns with one of the departments within the College of Education and Human Services. The positions are full-time, 9-month academic year appointments located on USU’s main campus in Logan, UT and are not eligible for remote work. Start date for the positions will be August 1, 2026. Review of applications will begin January 5, 2026, and continue until the positions are filled.
