Overview
General Duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintains tools and equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability of equipment in safe operating condition.
- Ensure that laundry facilities and machines are working properly.
- Coordinate repairs, services, and payment with outside vendors
- Responds to emergency repair situations to ensure immediate safety of property/individuals and compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform minor plumbing repairs of limited difficulty such as tightening or replacing in-kind fittings and fixtures.
Qualifications and abilities
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum two years of work experience in repair and maintenance work, including one year of experience working with plumbing and electrical work.
- Must have a valid driver license.
- Must be organized and able to complete all assigned tasks.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds from the ground.
- Must be proficient in the latest version of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
- Assist Housing First Manager in ensuring compliance of the facility.
- Other duties as assigned
