What You Will Do as a Key Member of Our Facilities Team:

Perform repairs and maintenance on facility systems, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and general building upkeep. You’ll manage repair lists, complete work orders, and coordinate with contractors to ensure tasks are completed properly and in a timely manner.
Handle preventive maintenance tasks on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems. This includes replacing worn parts, filters, belts, lubricating equipment, and maintaining HVAC, plumbing, fire safety, security, safety showers, eyewashes, gas meter calibration, and CCTV systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with building and laboratory systems using digital diagnostic tools and data analysis to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
Monitor and operate building automation and surveillance systems, including Siemens, Avigilon, and Alerton platforms, ensuring all systems function correctly and safely.
Manage asset inventory, document maintenance activities, and handle procurement requests by researching parts, costs, and vendor information. You will also coordinate surplus management for items scheduled for shipment.
