What You Will Do

As the Sr Enterprise Architect for the 988 Crisis System, you’ll be the domain-level technical authority, guiding the design and implementation of complex IT solutions that support crisis response services. You’ll collaborate with technical and business teams across DOH and the Healthcare Authority to architect secure, reliable, and innovative systems. Your work will directly contribute to improving access to behavioral health services, ensuring operational efficiency, and mitigating risks in a high-impact public health program.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Implement IT Solutions: Architect and document technical solutions for the 988 system, focusing on call routing, help seeker documentation, resource directories, dispatch, referrals, and data interoperability.

Provide Strategic Guidance: Offer senior-level consultation on IT projects, ensuring compliance with DOH standards and alignment with 988 program goals.
Develop Technical Policies: Collaborate with service and business owners to create integration strategies, data security protocols, and investment plans that support the BHCC ecosystem.
Lead System Integration: Work with vendors, consultants, and state agencies to align systems with business needs, ensuring seamless interoperability across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
Conduct Analysis and Planning: Perform cost-benefit and risk analyses, develop high-level system specifications, and guide migrations, deployments, and installations.
Communicate Effectively: Translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for leadership, stakeholders, and non-technical audiences.
