Overview

The Epidemiologist 2 position supports the Substance Use Surveillance and Injury Epidemiology Team by developing, analyzing, and maintaining datasets related to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Reporting to the Epidemiologist 3 Team Supervisor, this role applies statistical methods to guide policy, program development, surveillance, and evaluation efforts. Funded by SAMHSA grant awards and state general funds, the position offers a unique opportunity to impact public health through evidence-based decision-making.

 

This role works closely with program staff and partners to implement state and community-level assessments, providing technical expertise and data-driven insights for ongoing projects.
