Fiscal Analyst 3 (FA3)

This recruitment is for 4 full-time hybrid project positions that will be funded through June 30, 2026.

The Office of Financial Services (OFS) provides leadership and support for agency priorities through high-quality financial and operational management, including budgeting, contracting, grant management, purchasing, and accounting. Our team ensures compliance with state and federal financial regulations while supporting the Department of Health’s mission.

We are seeking several Fiscal Analyst 3s to assist with essential financial operations during the transition to the statewide One Washington project. This position helps maintain continuity during peak workload periods and plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.

What You’ll Do:

Assist in processing revenue and receivables transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
Assist in managing accounts payable transactions, including vendor payments, invoice processing, and resolving discrepancies.
Assist with account reconciliations, including credit accounts, travel expense reports, and journal vouchers.
Assist with balancing accounts and fund tracking, ensuring financial integrity across multiple funding sources.
Support community compensation actions and other fiscal processes as assigned.
Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to support operational decision-making.
Collaborate with the OneWA Finance Supervisor (FA5) and other team members to streamline financial operations.

Location and Flexibility

Enjoy the flexibility of our hybrid work environment, where you can balance working from home and collaborating in the office.  It is anticipated that you’ll be expected at the DOH facility located in Tumwater for work activities between one (1) to five (5) days based on need.
