Overview

As the Office Manager with the Washington State Department of Health’s Center for Health Statistics, you play a vital role in supporting the agency’s mission to protect and improve public health. In alignment with the Pro-Equity Anti-Racism (PEAR) Plan & Playbook, you contribute to promoting equitable access to health resources and addressing disparities. Your responsibilities include organizing administrative services, managing records, coordinating procurement, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the center. Required Qualifications

 

NOTE:  Experience may have been gained concurrently.

 

Option 1: Four (4) or more years  of experience in the following:

Office management, administrative, or secretarial experience in an office setting
Experience using Microsoft Office Word and Excel; as well as demonstrated experience using MS Outlook
Using SharePoint and Microsoft Teams or other webinar applications
Coordinating/ managing contracts or legal agreements
Processing and monitoring Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Drafting memos and correspondences
Option 2: Associate in business administration or a related field and two (2) or more years of experience in the following:

Office management, administrative, or secretarial experience in an office setting
Experience using Microsoft Office Word and Excel; as well as demonstrated experience using MS Outlook
Using SharePoint and Microsoft Teams or other webinar applications
Coordinating/ managing contracts or legal agreements
Processing and monitoring Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Drafting memos and correspondences
