AGENCY PROFILE:
The YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles is a Non-Profit Organization that serves over 28 communities in the Greater Los Angeles area. In our program, we partner with families to support the “whole child.” Through engaging learning experiences, children grow across all areas of development in a safe and welcoming environment that prepares them for lifelong success. Starting as young as six weeks, our Early Head Start, Head Start, and preschool classrooms promote school readiness by supporting health, nutrition, mental health, social-emotional, and cognitive development.
As a delegate of Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) our programs are funded in part by the Administration for Children and Families, Department of Health and Human Services, and California Department of Education.
