Overview

The Analyst I serves as a Program Licensing Analyst and acts as a liaison between Laboratory Field Services (LFS), the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and external stakeholders. The Analyst I performs routine analytical tasks related to communication, data systems, licensing, quality assurance, and administrative operations.

The incumbent works under the direction of the Examiner III, Chief of the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment Section within the Laboratory Field Services Branch.

Teleworking may be available for this position, in accordance with CDPH’s Telework Policy and Procedures.

If new to California state service, you will need to have taken and passed the examination for this classification to be hired for this position. If you are a current state employee, but do not have transfer eligibility or list eligibility, you will need to have taken and passed the examination for this classification to be hired for this position.
